- £60.4 billion of new residential loans was advanced to individuals during January - March 2017. This was a 3.8% decrease compared to the previous quarter and a decrease of 5.6% from the same quarter last year.
- At Q1 2017, the value of all outstanding residential loans was £1,347.3 billion, an increase of 0.7% compared with Q4 2016 and an increase of 3.3% compared with Q1 2016.
- New commitments decreased by 0.7% quarter-on-quarter from £61.8 billion in Q4 2016 to £61.4 billion in Q1 2017.
