Pamela Wright was appointed as Deputy Agent for the East Midlands in March 2010. Prior to that, she was Deputy Agent in Northern Ireland from 2003, following two years working in Monetary Analysis in the Bank's Threadneedle Street Head Office.
Immediately prior to working at the Bank of England, Pamela was Director of Economics and Research at the British Retail Consortium, where she worked for 5 years. Before this, she worked in the commercial property sector as a Senior Investment Analyst.
Her qualifications are MSc (Econ) International Economics and Banking and BA (Hons) Banking, Insurance and Finance. Outside interests include both indoor and outdoor cricket.
