About the event

Monday 18 February 2019 - Friday 22 February 2019

10am to 4.30pm

Our half-term storytelling tours are first-come first-served. We are sorry for any disappointment this may cause.

Join us for an exhilarating event for families.

A costumed actor will lead families round the museum on a storytelling adventure. Then, let your imagination take flight and colour in a worksheet with a kite design of your choice or create your own.

You can also have some fun designing a wonderful landscape on our chalkboards. Draw somewhere you have visited before, or somewhere only you have ever been in your imagination. Let your creativity take you there!

This event is suitable for children. Any visitors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  Our interactive storytelling tours will take place at 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm.

Entry is free, but make sure you arrive in good time. There are a limited number of places for each session. We have limited space for storing buggies and pushchairs. You may be asked to take them with you as you go round the museum.

Free admission

We are open Monday-Friday 10am to 5pm (excluding Bank Holidays), last entry at 4:30pm.
