Museum late: Library of Mistakes

Join our evening of talks on financial mistakes and mishaps from history.

About the event

When: Thursday 18 May, 5pm to 8pm (last entry 7.30pm)

Our friends from the Library of Mistakes in Edinburgh join us to take a fresh look at the economy by focusing on past mistakes. The Library of Mistakes aims to promote financial understanding through the study of financial history, one mistake at a time…

We have a stellar line-up of experts ready to tell you all about economic mistakes from the past. You can join the lectures at 4.45pm or 6.10pm.

We will also be streaming the talks on Teams for those unable to attend in person.

To learn more about the programme for our evening lectures and to book, please visit our Festival of Mistakes page

Pop-up Library of Mistakes

Can’t join the talks? The museum will be open until 8pm for you to explore.

The Library of Mistakes have set up a mini recreation of the Library in the museum where you can sit and peruse a range of books in their collection and see some quirky artefacts related to our financial past.

Check out the pop-up library, as well as the rest of the museum, until 8pm.
