About the exhibition

We’re open late to give you an extra opportunity to view our new exhibition ‘Pardner Hand: A Caribbean answer to British banking exclusion’. Curated by Museumand and hosted at the Bank of England Museum, this exhibition highlights Caribbean entrepreneurship in the face of financial discrimination. Focusing on the Pardner Hand community savings scheme which was popularised in the UK following the arriving of the Windrush Generation, visit the exhibition to discover how a community worked together to make a life in the UK.
