Our recent ‘Town Hall’ events have taken place in Airdrie, Stoke-on-Trent, Blackpool, Ashington, Manchester, Leicester and Cardiff.

Get involved

It’s important we explain what we do because it affects everyone. We also need to know about the impact of our decisions. For example, what changes to interest rates mean for your income, spending and savings.

So we are finding ways to have conversations with you.

We go out to every region

Our agents meet local businesses and community organisations to have two-way conversations about our work and what it means for them.

We work with non-profit organisations to hold regular meetings with people in all parts of the UK in our Town Hall events. If your community organisation is interested in helping us please email outreach@bankofengland.co.uk.

We hold events at our building in London

You can apply to join one of our One Bank Flagship Seminar events that take place in London.

We invite guest speakers to talk about what they do and questions are welcome. At recent event our guests include the poet Simon Armitage, the musician Dame Evelyn Glennie and the singer-songwriter Billy Bragg.

We are planning our next Future Forum

Each year we explain what we are doing and listen to your views at our 'Future Forum'. Last year this was held in Liverpool.

In 2018, we’re developing plans so you can join our forum wherever you live in the UK.
