Biography
Chris is a qualified actuary and a senior actuary within the Bank’s General Insurance Division, where he is involved in supervising motor insurers.
Chris is knowledgeable in a number of areas relevant to the supervision of UK insurers, including the Solvency II standard formula and technical provisions, motor insurance and transfers of business. As a result of his work looking after UK motor insurers, Chris contributed to a research projection looking into the potential impacts of autonomous cars on the UK insurance sector.
Before he joined the Bank in 2008, Chris was Actuarial Manager at Assurant Solutions.
