Fernando works as Senior Research Economist on the Research and Strategy Team in the International Directorate. Previously, he worked on the Macro-Financial Analysis Division in the Monetary Analysis Directorate.

Fernando’s research interests centre around international macroeconomics and international finance. He holds a DPhil (Phd) in Economics from Oxford University (Mansfield College), an MRes in Economics and Finance from CEMFI (Spain), and a BSc in Economics from UTDT (Argentina).
