Tommaso is a Senior Economist at the Bank of England and a member of the Centre for Macroeconomics. He has previously worked as Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the Birmingham Business School, as non-resident Fellow and Research Assistant at BRUEGEL and as Research Assistant at the European Central Bank.
He was awarded a PhD in Economics from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (ECARES-ULB) in August 2015, an MSc in Economics from Università Bocconi in March 2008 and BSc in Economics, again from Università Bocconi, in November 2005. He also studied at the FEBA in Maastricht for six months.
