DescriptionJohn Jones was accused of uttering forged notes in Holywell, Flintshire. John Jones said that he received forged notes from his brother, William Jones, who said he received them from James Davis. John Jones' wife was committed to jail for also uttering forged notes. The bundle briefly mentions the case of Osbourne, who was sent to Botany Bay 'for obtaining money under false pretences'.
