DescriptionThe letter refers to an enclosed banknote plate for the 'Bank of Elegance'. The letter informs the Governor that the plate was found 'in the hands of a Hair dresser in Liquor Pond Street, named Morris.' Mr Morris and his wife had been arrested for making spurious banknotes.
