DescriptionOne letter from Thomas Perry, of Perry's (a bankruptcy and insolvent registry office which specialised in locating and claiming estates for relatives of the deceased) to the Transfer Office of the East India Company at East India House, enclosing another letter. The latter was from a client, Charles B. Morgan, explaining his claim to an inheritance left by a Wiliam Morgan in 1709. The letters are written on the verso of an advertisement for Perry's.
