Description | Four oversize prints on large boards showing staff participating in operations. No information is recorded on the reverse but they are very similar to others taken at Whitchurch and Hurtsbourne during the evacuation.
1) Interior view of men and women working at desks in the the Lawn - Income Tax Section. 2) A row of women working at typewriter-style machines. 3) A member of staff feeding banknotes into a machine. A sign on the machine reads 'Most important: This machine must not be started or notes put into it unless the red lamp is alight'. 4) An interior office scene showing staff working at typewriter-style machines.
No photographer's stamp but style and original reference matches others in series by London News Agency. |
