DescriptionA set of four envelopes.
Three are addressed to 'B.Dobree, Governor of the Bank of England' and have French postal stamps affixed to the front and red wax seals on the reverse.
A fourth envelope is addressed to 'Governor of the Bank of England,' and contains compliments sent by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, 11 Downing Street, Whitehall. The reverse has been embossed with the coat of arms of the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
