Description | Ten letters sent from James Kempston and one note. Nine of these letters are written to Humphry Morice; one letter is written to Mr William Tymms, but addressed to Humphry Morice on the reverse. The letters largely concern a discussion of tenants, the collection of rents and payment of mortgages and in particular mention a neighbouring mill. Letters 8 - 10 also discuss a planned journey to London.
