Description | Collection of papers relating to Humphrey Morice and his business activities, including slave trading. Most papers are from the early 18th century with one later document of 1835. 'Annual account of ten Southsea Bonds delivered the Bank of England for account of Humphrey Morice'. 1721 17. 'Royall Exchange Insurance Company account with Humphrey Morice.' 1727 18.
