| Description | Accounts relating to payments for exchequer bills and lottery tickets administered by the Bank of England. These documents outline purchases or transfers. They are rough workings or drafts, which may have been used to compile ledger entries such as those in the lottery ledgers within the AC27 series. Many of the papers are worn but the information remains largely legible. Dates are given in Old Style (Julian Calendar). Papers described as January 1709 would be January 1710 New Style. |
