Admin History | The IRC, in preliminary stages called Industrial Reorganisation Finance Corporation, was formed in 1966. It had three aims: to improve balance of payments, to stimulate and assist in schemes of industrial reorganisation and to encourage the introduction in industry of advanced technology. It was wound up in 1973. The Bank was on the various committees formed to establish the corporation. |
