| Description | As the Registrar for HM Government (HMG) and various other borrowing bodies, the Accountant's Department maintained files for each loan managed and the Stock Jackets contain papers relevant to each individual issue. There are also files on special operations, for instance where the Bank act as Paying Agent and/or Issuing House only. From 1980 these records relate to Registrar's Department.
