DescriptionThe letters record various business matters, mainly with other banks (particularly the Bank of Ireland), and Government departments. [The letters were used as source material by R J S Green in his paper entitled 'The Bank's Practice in the Accountant's Department before the First World War', 1955. The pages are annotated to mark where quotations and references appear in Green's text.]
