A new form of resolution enabling directors and managers to apply for loans was devised to be completed by all houses and to take into account the fact that commercial bills were no longer the houses' main asset. A composite form of application providing for loans against any approved type of security was designed, and lists of signatures of those members of staff authorised to take delivery of securities on repayment of loans obtained. |
