| Activity | Crockett was educated at Queen's College, Cambridge and Yale. He joined the Bank in 1966 and moved to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in 1972 where he stayed until 1989. Crockett returned to the Bank in 1989 when he was appointed Executive Director with responsibility for international matters. He left the Bank again in 1993 and the following year went to the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) to be its General Manager. He remained at the BIS until 2003 when he became President of JP Morgan Chase International. |
