ActivityLefeaux joined the Bank in 1904. He was appointed a Deputy Chief Cashier in 1927. In 1933, on the recommendation of Governor Montagu Norman, Lefeaux became the first Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, a post he held until 1940.
