| Activity | Richard Charles Henry Hallett was born on 13 September 1916. Educated at St Paul's School, Hallett joined the Bank in 1935. He was the first Governor of the Bank of Northern Rhodesia (1964 to 1968) after which he returned to the Bank to take charge of foreign exchange. He was latterly an Adviser to the Governors, before retiring in 1975. He died on 29 September 1990. |
