ActivityPrior to 1 Mar 1980, the Finance and Resource Planning Division (FRPD) was part of the Secretary's Department. During this period, the division was known as the Accounts and Costing Office (ACO), and then, from 1973, as the Accounting Services Division (ASD). The ACO/ASD was responsible for a number of accounting and budgeting functions, including: Budget Planning, Capital and Project Budgets, Payment of Bills, Budgetary Control, Corporation Tax, etc.

On 1 Mar 1980 Corporate Services Department was created and Finance and Resource Planning Division was incorporated into it. FRPD was responsible for: Financial Accounts, Supplier Payments, Payroll, Cost Accounting, Budgetary Control, Corporate Planning, Tax, Manpower Planning, Resource Planning, HMT Estimates/Cash Limit and Projects.

1986: Finance and Resource Planning Divison has three offices: Property Manager's Office; Management Accounting Office; Financial Accounting Office 11A265/5 Staff Committee, 10/04/86

1987: Financial Accounting has three offices: Accounting Records; Payroll Section; Financial Accounts Section. Management Accounting: Budget Planning; Resource Planning; Manpower Planning; Cost Accounting. Property Manager's Office
