ActivityThe Administration Department was established on 1 March 1976 and brought together the Secretary's Department, Management Services Department, Audit and the property management functions of the Establishment Department. In 1980, Corporate Services Department was created, incorporating the Staff Development and Administration Division, Finance and Resource Planning Division, Secretary's Division, Premises Division, Systems & Office Services Division (SOSD), Audit Division, Pension Fund and Housing Loans. The Staff Office (later Personnel) and Audit Division were decentralised in 1984 and in 1988 SOSD was renamed Management Services Division (MSD). In 1994, following Bank-wide re-organisation due to Ashridge, Corporate Services Department was renamed as Central Services, incorporating Centre for Central Banking Studies (CCBS), Personnel Division, Finance & Resources, Secretary's Department, Audit Division and Business Continuity Division.
