Resignations - A presentation was held on 30 Dec 1920 for Mr H E McCloud on his resignation after 20 years of service. He left the Bank to train for and serve the Church; Mr S I E Crouch - left to take up an appointment as Assistant Secretary of the London Assurance Company. He entered the Bank in 1900, was appointed Chief Clerk at Newcastle in 1914 and then transferred to Manchester in 1919.
