Admin History | Lord Kahn, with R H Fry and E G Woolgar, was asked by the Chancellor in November 1965 to report into the position of sterling in 1964-65. They reported in June 1966. In November 1968 Lord Kahn himself was asked to prepare a similar report for January 1966 to February 1968. He reported in August 1971. On both occasions there was a joint Bank/Treasury (HMT) secretariat. |

Also includes detailed synopsis, 1971, of the Kahn Report, giving overview of individual chapters. |
