| Admin History | Schacht was President of the Reichsbank October 1924 - January 1939 (with a break from March 1930 to March 1933), and also Economics Minister 1934-1937. He was charged at Nuremburg with assisting Adolf Hitler in starting aggressive wars, but acquitted in 1946. He was later rearrested by German Authorities and put in prison. |
