| Admin History | Deloittes' association with the Bank dates from 1919 when Montagu Collet Norman called them in to advise on 'costing'; the Bank were then in the midst of negotiations with HM Government over charges (See G15/155). They continued to advise on costing until 1925 when they were also invited to audit the Bank's balance sheet. Deloittes did a further investigation of the Audit Department in 1949. |
