Includes, donations by the Bank to public charities statistics of the gold and silver coined at the Royal Mint and in other parts of the United Kingdom between 1588 and 1809; number of persons prosecuted for coining between 1783 and 1818; list of Chief Cashiers (inc. dates of their appointment 1694 to 1908); donations to public charities; numbers of persons prosecuted for counterfeiting dollars and tokens issued by the Bank of England; issue of the Spanish dollar; donation to a monument to the memory of Admiral Lord Nelson; copies of applications for advances made by Parliament to the Bank (between 1819 and 1820); list of Architects of the Bank (1731 to 1935); donations to funds for the relief of widows of men killed in various wars. Pages 34-35 feature the Governor's Charge to the newly elected clerks.
