| Description | Published in 1890 this volume of statistics, originally published in 1875, was produced by Benjamin Buck Greene, Governor of the Bank of England 1873 - 1875, primarily for his own use, but also for the use of 'the Governors and other members of the Court'. He was asked to continue his work which was published in this later volume. Manuscript figures have been added beyond the publication date and not all information starts in 1694.
There are a number of copies of this book. The statistics from 1890 onwards were added at a later date by hand and not all copies of the book were updated to the same dates.
