Stay late at the Bank of England Museum and experience The Power of Honey: Food, Finance and the Golden Age of Fraud after hours.
Created by Bompas & Parr with the British Museum of Food, sponsored by Visa and the City of London, this immersive exhibition transforms the museum into a space of scent, sound and surveillance - where live bees, fake honey and financial deception collide.
At the heart of the evening is the Bee-nomics Inspection Hive: a custom-built live hive bringing working bees into the Museum. Watch as the colony communicates, defends and responds to threats - a living, moving model of vigilance in action.
As the Museum opens its doors after dark, you’ll be able to explore the exhibition at your own pace and dive deeper through a series of special late-only activities for an evening which brings the themes of the exhibition vividly to life. A special Waggle Line Dancing workshop will also be available, tickets for which are required. A booking link to this separate workshop can be found at the end of this page*.
