Step into the history of the Bank of England with tours of our central Parlours. Visit the heart of the economy as you admire a rare snapshot of 18th Century architecture and fascinating artworks through a maze of hidden offices.

What are Parlours?
The Parlours sit at the core of the Bank's iconic building, and are part of the last remenants of Taylor's 1760's carefully curated architecture.
They are the central offices where the Governor and other important committees sit and discuss upcoming economic decisions. They are restricted in access even to Bank staff, and offer no access to the public... until now!

Essential Information*:
- You must be aged 18 or over to attend this tour.
- Booking for these tours is MANDATORY.
- ONE BOOKING = ONE ATTENDEE
Bookings are limited to one person per booking. The booking must be made in the name of the person attending. If multiple people wish to attend, each attendee must make their own individual booking. For security reasons, the same name must not be used for more than one booking. Duplicate bookings under the same name may be cancelled. - You must bring an acceptable form of original valid photo ID on the day for entry. The name of your booking must match your ID. You can find a list of acceptable forms of ID below.**
- Entry is subject to security approval, and is not guaranteed.
- There is airport-style security to enter both the Museum and the Bank.
- Absolutely no photography or video recording is permitted during the tour.
- You must follow our visitor guidelines for the duration of your visit. Our security team reserves the right to remove visitors from the tour at their discretion.
