Join us in the Museum this summer for a free, drop-in family activity for children and young people aged 5 to 18 years old.
Choose your favourite object, get inspired, and create a piece of writing about it. Winners will receive special prizes and have their work displayed in the Museum next to the object!
Essential information:
- We are open Monday-Friday, 10am – 5pm (last entry at 4:30pm)
- Free to take part, no booking needed.
- This is a self-led activity lasting around one hour.
- Entries must be about an object on display.
- Entries should be no more than one A4 page (worksheets available)
- Entries should be handed into the museum during your visit (details will be provided upon arrival).
- There is an airport-style security check at the Museum entrance.
