Explore highlights of the Bank of England’s art collection

Our artwork collection

We have a large collection of paintings, drawings and prints. It includes images of the Bank of England’s buildings, London landscapes, and portraits of staff.

These artworks have been collected over many years. Some were originally used in the Bank of England’s formal rooms (known as ‘the parlours’).

Others were created by people who worked at the Bank of England. They give us a fascinating insight into how working life has changed since 1694.
