Join us on Thursday 21 September from 5pm to 8pm as we stay open late to celebrate all things archaeology! 

Walk the route of the ‘lost’ River Walbrook with our museum team on a guided walking tour. Plus, dig into our collection with a table of special objects that tell a story of Roman Londinium.

All events are free. 

The lost River Walbrook walking tour

  • 5.45pm and 6pm

Trace the route of the River Walbrook, one of London’s subterranean rivers. Learn how the river was a key part of Roman life, and explore what sits atop the river today. 

This tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours and will travel around the City of London. Please ensure you wear comfortable shoes and are dressed for the weather. 

The tours are free but booking is necessary.
