Explore the Bank of England Museum on Saturday 16 September for a rare weekend opening in collaboration with the Open House Festival. Join for drop-in talks about the architecture and history of the Bank, and marvel at the building built by John Soane and Herbert Baker.

Our museum, along with all of our events, are free.

Spotlight talks: The history of the Bank

11.15am, 12.15pm, 2.15pm, 3.15pm. Free.

Join us for short talk which covers the history, architecture and work of the Bank of England. 

Talks are free and drop-in, no need to book ahead.

Family activities

All day, free.

Looking for things to do as a family? Take part in colouring activities inspired by the Bank of England’s architectural features.

Please note: This is a special weekend opening of the Bank of England Museum. The Bank of England itself will unfortunately not be open for visiting. Please enter via the Museum’s entrance on Bartholomew Lane.
