Biography
Rohan Churm is our Executive Director for Monetary Policy. Rohan is responsible for leading the Monetary Policy function, ensuring that MPC discussions are informed by the best available analysis, and for delivering the Monetary Policy Transformation programme, one of the Bank’s strategic investment priorities.
Previously, Rohan was Director of Financial Resilience and Controls at Ofgem (2023-26). He first joined the Bank of England in 2001, working in various roles including Head of Future Balance Sheet (2022-23), Head of Foreign Exchange Division (2017-22) and Head of Stress Testing Strategy Division (2014-17).
He graduated from Cambridge University and has an MSc from Warwick Business School.
