Biography
Talib is Director of PRA Strategy, Risk and Operations, responsible for leading a number of cross-cutting functions in the PRA. Prior to this, he held a variety of supervisory and financial stability roles, having joined the Financial Services Authority in 2006 and moving over to the Bank of England in 2013. Talib’s previous roles include leading the supervision of global systemically important banks and financial markets institutions, leading the PRA’s thematic work on liquidity and funding risk across the major UK banks, implementing the UK ring-fencing regime, and working on a range of financial stability issues. He also spent time seconded to the IMF.
