The Bank of England has had a significant presence in Leeds for over 200 years and in May 2024 we announced plans to further increase our presence in the city to more than 500 staff.
The Bank in Leeds is in an accessible and modern office within Leeds City Centre. Being in the heart of Leeds we have easy access to the train station and regular buses directly outside the office.

Built in 1937, the office has architectural nods back to the Modernist era and has been renovated to make the most of the high ceilings and natural light. The building includes extensive communal areas including two roof terraces and an on-site café.
There are shower facilities, bike storage and changing rooms and, as part of the Bank’s wider benefit package we have secured subsidised access to local gyms.

The closest train station is Leeds, which is a 6 to 8 minute walk to the office.
By bus
A number of bus services serve Leeds city centre. The closest bus stop to the office is on Infirmary Street, and is a 2 minute walk, with Leeds Bus Station only a 12 minute walk.
By car
We are a 5 minute walk from Q-Park The Light, Q-Park Albion Street and NCP The Core car parks. Alternatively, Leeds is served by three Park and Ride schemes, typically stopping within a 10 to15 walk of the office.
