About the conference
Date: 29 April and 30 April 2025
On Tuesday 29 April and Wednesday 30 April, the European Central Bank will be holding its annual conference on the international spillovers of monetary policy, jointly organised with the Bank for International Settlements, the Bank of England, and the International Monetary Fund.
This year’s topic is “Policy challenges in a fragmenting world: Global trade, exchange rates, and capital flows”. The conference gathers theoretical and empirical contributions related to the international transmission of shocks, with a particular focus on the implications of global economic fragmentation and the roles of monetary, fiscal, and macroprudential policies.
