The Governor invited members to vote on the proposition that the repo rate should be reduced by 25 basis points to 3.50%. Eight members of the Committee (the Governor, Andrew Large, Kate Barker, Charles Bean, Marian Bell, Richard Lambert, Stephen Nickell and Paul Tucker) voted in favour. Rachel Lomax voted against, preferring to maintain the repo rate at 3.75%.
