Bank of England To Celebrate The Queen's Golden Jubilee
A unique exhibition of portraits of the Queen is to be shown at the Bank of England Museum in Bartholomew Lane, EC2.

For 42 years the Queen's portrait has appeared on Bank of England banknotes. "Royal Portrait, a Celebration of the Queen's Golden Jubilee" will focus on the Queen and the Bank and in particular on the 1960 £1 note which was the first to include the portrait of a reigning monarch.
