The Bank of England is delighted to announce the appointment of Michael Kumhof as the Senior Research Advisor in the Bank’s new Research Hub.

This is a new role set up as part of the Bank’s recent Strategic Plan. The Research Hub itself has the aim of expanding the Bank’s research capacity and influence in our areas of policy responsibility. Michael will play a key part in leading this.
