This supervisory statement sets out the types of business that a pure reinsurer can carry on as related to its insurance business. The statement is addressed to UK Solvency II firms and to Lloyd’s and should be read alongside the Conditions Governing Business Part of the Prudential Regulation Authority Rulebook.
