Biography

Aakriti is a senior research economist in the Prudential Policy Directorate of the Bank of England. She joined the Bank in August 2020 after completing her Ph.D. at The Graduate Institute (IHEID), Geneva. She has worked previously at the Bank for International Settlements, World Bank, World Trade Organisation, and National Institute of Public Finance & Policy.

Aakriti’s research interests span topics in macro-finance and financial economics. She has a particular interest in banking and banking regulation, corporate finance, and monetary policy transmission and communication.
