Galina is a Senior Research Economist in the Pricing and Costs team within our Structural Economics Division. She joined the Bank in October 2019.
Her research interests are in applied macro and monetary economics, time series econometrics, and forecasting. More specifically, Galina’s research deals with monetary policy transmission, cross-country spill-overs and global dynamics, inflation dynamics, and business cycle analysis.
Prior to joining the Bank, Galina worked as an Economist in the forecasting team at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (2015-2019). She has also worked at the European Central Bank (April to June 2019) and the Centre for European Policy Studies (2011-12).
Galina holds a PhD from Kiel University.
