David Belsham

David Belsham was the Actuarial Director of Prudential plc’s UK insurance business from 1995 until 2014. David joined Prudential in 1983 and in the period, 1983 to 1995 worked in a range of actuarial roles including valuation, product development, general insurance, financial reporting and mergers and acquisitions.

David is a qualified actuary and was the Appointed Actuary/Actuarial Function Holder for Prudential’s UK, Europe and Hong Kong business from 1998 to 2014. During this time he also held various executive and non-executive director roles on the Board of Prudential’s UK insurance companies.
