Biography
Don Robert joined the Court of the Bank of England as a non-executive director in August 2014. He serves as non-executive Chairman of Experian plc, a post he has held since July 2014. Experian is a global data and analytics business which helps organisations and individuals protect, manage and make sense of their information.
Prior to this he served as Group Chief Executive of Experian, a position he held from 2005 to 2014. From 2001 to 2005 he served as Chief Executive of Experian North America. He held previous executive roles with First American Corp, Credco Inc. and U.S. Bank.
Don Robert is also Chairman of two private information businesses; Achilles Group Limited and Validis Holdings Limited. He is a Visiting Fellow at Oxford University, past Chairman of the Consumer Data Industry Association, past director of the National Education and Employer Partnership Taskforce and former Senior Independent Director of Compass Group plc.
